At the start of a recent COMPUTER SCIENCE topic, Form 4 (Year 6) students learnt about COMPUTER ALGORITHMS by creating their own unique ‘step by step’ instructions for a new dance routine. Check out the video to see the students in action. Instructions were typed up in the Seesaw: Digital Journal app and reviewed by peers, photos were taken on the iPad and gif animations were created by their teacher. In the subsequent lesson, the students took pictures in front of a greenscreen, uploaded their images to MIT Scratch and experimented with code to create a digitised dance routine through the use of SEQUENCES, SELECTION, and LOOPS.
