Welcome to Nick's Cornish Coastal Challenge

Old Cranleighan and Chairman of the Trustees of the Cranleigh Foundation, Nick Meyer, is embarking on a challenge of walking 295 miles of the Cornish coast over the summer of 2019.

I am backing myself £30 per mile: that's £8,850 for the Cranleigh Foundation. Let's see if we can double it together!

The Cranleigh Foundation is a fund which over the coming decades will build to a substantial endowment to support bursaries to provide a Cranleigh education for pupils who have a significant pastoral need, such as losing the support of one or both parents through exceptional or tragic circumstances, and who would benefit from a nurturing boarding environment.

As a fellow trustee of the Cranleigh Foundation, I really salute Nick for taking on this fantastic challenge! The work of the Foundation under Nick’s inspirational leadership is central to Cranleigh’s ability to offer fully funded places to children who have suffered incredibly difficult circumstances in their young lives. Please join me in sponsoring Nick as he tackles the highs and lows of the Cornish coastline for the benefit of the Cranleigh Foundation.Adrian Lajtha, Chairman of the Governing Body, Cranleigh School
