We\u2019ve just finished running our first ever Cranleigh Foundation Week and it was a huge success. Here, organiser Susannah Schofield, Head of Cranleigh Giving, reflects on the highlights of the week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Week was the first dedicated digital campaign for the Cranleigh Foundation and I have to admit to feeling somewhat daunted about whether I could beg enough content from colleagues, create the quantity of assets to make a digital campaign as well as react to social media in real-time. On top of this, I privately wondered if there would be enough interest from the community to sustain a seven-day campaign.<\/p>\n

As with all new projects, especially those which daunt us, preparation was key and, in the months ahead of the Week, the Cranleigh Giving team devoted hours of time in editing articles, sourcing images and creating social media slides. We were mindful to maintain Foundationers and their families\u2019 confidentiality and were determined to frame their stories in as empowering a way as possible.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the week, it was great to see, in the words of chairman of Governing Body and Foundation trustee, Adrian Lajtha describe the Cranleigh Foundation as \u2018a real jewel in the Cranleigh crown and,’ over the week, \u2018it has been wonderful to see it sparkle in the light of so many contributions from people involved in its work\u2019.<\/p>\n
