Trustee

Chris has been connected with Cranleigh School since 1999 as a teacher of English, Housemistress of the first girls’ West House, Deputy Head of Admissions, and as Head of Riding in charge of the School’s Equestrian teams.

Underlying all of this, however, has been her passion for supporting Foundation pupils in the School, having previously been involved in the Lord Wandsworth College Foundation. Whilst still teaching, and acting as the Executive Foundation Director, she established strong links with the Royal National Springboard Foundation and opened the way for Sixth Formers to join us as Foundationers via their scholarship programme, offering inner city youngsters the literal springboard they need to fulfil their potential.

Now in a well-deserved semi-retirement, she continues to run the School’s Equestrian activities (as well as enjoying a second ‘career’ as in international show jumping judge), whilst continuing her involvement on the Board of Trustees of our Foundation.
